COVID-19 was tough on the world, even more so for low-income and vulnerable families. The economic impact of COVID-19 coupled with the quarantine and stay home restrictions pushes these families into a situation where they are faced with severe food insecurity and increased risks of social isolation. Working from home, staying safe and comfortable, having regular healthy meals with loved ones are privileges that many low-income families are not blessed with.

Chope Singapore would like to come together this festive season to bring some warmth to these low income families through the best way we know how – Food. This Christmas your donations will deliver Christmas meals to 60 families who are in desperate need of some Christmas cheer, like those a good meal can bring when shared with loved ones. Is it possible for me to hand deliver the meal to the families if I wish to?

Yes, we could arrange with Ray of Hope for you to hand deliver the meals to the families. However, in line with safe distancing measures, you will only be able to pass the meals from outside their door and have a short chat with them from there.

Will my donation be tax deductible?

Ray of Hope is a registered charity but not an institution of public character. They therefore cannot issue tax deductible receipts.
