Unable to support his parents, Das Sagor loses hope
Das Sagor, 28, is a Bangladeshi migrant worker. He borrowed $8,000 to pay for the agent fees to work in Singapore. After almost five years here, Das Sagor met with a workplace-related accident. While lifting heavy power panels at work, one of the panels accidentally fell onto him causing him to fall and fractured his right leg. He is now unable to work. Without his pay, Das Sagor is worried as he is no longer able to support his family until he recovers.
