Shankar’s father is unfortunately in the ICU and approaching his end-of-life. Shankar has received 2 months of SSO assistance, and has been able to tide over for his living expenses, saving some money for emergency use. However, due to his father’s situation, all funds have been used up. They do not have the money to funeral preparations or for transport to the hospital.
