Diwali is celebrated as a festival of hope and light. The migrant workers in Singapore who toil endlessly in the sun and rain, to keep our streets clean and our buildings shiny have been going through immense stress over the pandemic period. While we have the luxury to meet our loved ones or even travel back home, these gentlemen cannot afford the same.

IHS Markit is teaming up with Its Raining Raincoats (“IRR”) to be able to give our dear brothers a little sense of joy and happiness this Diwali, through supporting IRR’s Diwali 2021 campaign.

IRR will be buying pizza, snacks and sweets (a staple for Diwali celebration) to be distributed to migrant workers across construction sites, dormitories & roadworks. 100% of the funds raised will be used to purchase items which will be distributed directly to the workers.
