As an only child, Wayne is 31 years old this year and lives with his parents who are both tissue sellers. His father is recovering from a spinal surgery in November 2022, and his mother is coping with depression due to caregiving stress. Wayne has been diagnosed with mild intellectual disability, ADHD, and autism. Wayne also has an absconding behaviour, where he will run away from his parents several times a year.

In addition, the family has extremely low social support. Wayne’s mother does not have any friends to turn to as she believes no one can support her during difficult periods. His parents also have a distant relationship.

In his free time, Wayne enjoys playing monopoly, bowling and video games. It is important for Wayne to have more social engagements and to develop hobbies so that he does not run away from home.
