Dear Donors,
In the first quarter of 2025, we have utilised $9,251.30 in funds to support five women facing complex and urgent needs. Your contributions have gone directly toward helping them meet essential living expenses, continue medical treatment, and work toward longer-term stability.
🔹 Andrea, 71, a two-time cancer survivor, is now dealing with new health complications. A top-up of $1,600 provided her with two months of support for utilities, meals, and medical supplies—giving her some stability while awaiting further medical reviews.
🔹 Mdm Kim, a widowed grandmother and caregiver to two young foster children, is managing multiple chronic health issues on limited social assistance. Emergency support helped her address immediate living expenses and manage the pressures of caregiving.
🔹 Mdm Rita, 79, is undergoing treatment for stage 4 cancer without access to subsidies due to her PR status. A $2,000 drawdown allowed her to continue treatment and relieved some of the financial pressure on her only son, who is also her full-time caregiver.
🔹 Liyana, 24, is a young mother raising two children while actively seeking employment. Support for four months of groceries and baby essentials has helped her stabilise her household while she continues job interviews.
🔹 Sarah, 63, is rebuilding her life after losing her life savings to financial scams. She was left just $5,633 away from losing her HDB flat. A $2,000 disbursement covered her first monthly housing payment and secured her rent for nine months, allowing her to redirect her limited resources to daily essentials while she continues up-skilling in AI and digital marketing.
Thank you for helping us meet these immediate needs. Your support has made a practical difference during a critical time for each of these women.
With Gratitude,
The Ray of Hope Team.
