Every child has a right to a safe place to play in. Every caregiver of a child with special needs needs, especially those newly diagnosed, will need additional support during their caregiving journey.

Play.Able is a play/toy library that provides a safe space for children with special needs enrolled in or on the waiting list to enroll in early intervention programmes  and MOE special education schools to play in and parents to meet other families.

This pilot community project is currently located inside Rainbow Centre, Margaret Drive, and is entirely run by Be Kind SG. During this Christmas season, we hope to receive your blessings for us to continue to provide this safe space for our children in 2023. Your donation will enable us to:

A. Provide paid work for caregivers who are unable to return to the workforce due to their caregiving responsibilities and individuals facing financial challenges

B. Purchase essential office stationery and equipment such as printer cartridge ink, laminating pouches, folders etc. to create our customized learning resources

C. Purchase curated educational resources, toys and games to expand the diversity of our resources

D. Organize community bonding and learning activities for our special needs families

About Be Kind SG

Be Kind SG is a volunteer-led group founded in 2017. We have been registered as a non-profit organization since late 2021. Be Kind SG aims to create a kind and inclusive society for persons with invisible disabilities, such as intellectual disabilities and autism. Currently, our programs include engaging and supporting residents living in adult disability homes and children and youths with special needs. We serve more than 600 people in our communities currently.
